A23: what to know
- Inside, an A23 is eight tiny 1.5 V cells in series, which is how it reaches 12 V in a 10.3 mm × 28.5 mm shell.
- It looks like an N cell (12 mm × 30.2 mm), but the N is only 1.5 V; putting one in an A23 remote will not work.
